I see the benefits of in-person collaboration, but they're not a panacea and sometimes slow down productivity. I'm a big fan of the quarterly offsite schedule where once a quarter, your team/org/whatever gets together so

My secret is to watch Paramount content through the TV app on macOS/iOS/iPadOS/tvOS. The Apple video player is a much better experience than any of the current streaming service apps.

This reads like a critique of centralized versus decentralized control, but I think it’s more about lack of clear intention. Apple has a clear intent that allows the subsequent groups to work towards and contribute to it. Google and Microso

I'm not so sure about this. They innovate slower, but they still innovate. Sure, without Jobs there isn't one person who's a stand-in for the customer, but there are still plenty of folks at Apple representing the customer an

Yeah, I really miss the old 360 Blade UI rather than the New Xbox Experience UI. From then on, it just sort of got worse. It's ironic since Microsoft also has Windows and DirectX and corners the PC gaming market in this regard.

It seems like the phenomena of helicopter parenting and an intense focus on the "nuclear family" are two sides of the same coin. Helicopter parenting doesn't create resilience and also doesn't allow for an organic develo

I think there's one of two ways to make roadways safer: 1. Add these safety feature mandates that increase the price of vehicles 2. Move towards banning larger and larger vehicles and create limits on height and clearance for non-comme

Why not solve the "jobs" crisis of shutting down business in this situation by inverting liquidation preference and injecting employees to the front of the line? When the business liquidates as a result of close of business, credi

From what I know, there are several settings of regenerative braking you can choose. The higher levels will bring the vehicle to a stop, while the lower ones won't. So it's user-configurable to a degree.
