The real question is why are sepote fruit so hard to come by? They're absolutely amazing. One single niche vendor at my farmers market grows and sells them. It's a tragedy.

This entire idea just underscores the inane mental burden for the average person just to drive their car long distance.

Our entire approach to town and city building is fucked. People/professionals all vacation to places like Tulum (etc) where you can just walk through little slices of paradise on foot (or scooter) and reach everything you need sans car

The word converge always confused me here when learning English. It's not like the edges of a circular polygon "converge" even in a hypothetically perfect circle. They more....blend together, or lose their edge. Either way ma

Really? Hell my Google Mini has only recently decided to scream "by the way, the mic is off!" on startup every single time. I've had the mic off for years. Google decided to punish me for using it only as a speaker.

Ok but what's wrong with becoming a basic content internet utility? Why can't Netflix "just" be YouTube for professionally made TV and movie content, with a great UI? Why is that a bad business?

As a recent parent of a 3 month old the stupidity of our evolutionary design baffles me. Why do you have to laboriously teach babies to fall asleep, stay asleep, etc. Even in contact naps where they should theoretically feel absolutely safe
