How long until they can build that massive box, stage it in orbit, and pick it up/put it down as needed? I can't decide if I'm joking or not.

Everything after it was kind of a disaster though. Although I do have a soft spot for Indestructible.

I just saw Rancid, Smashing Pumpkins and Green Day. All on the same tour. It was amazing to have that much of the first half of my life in one stadium. Green Day are still in their prime in terms of a live show. Yeah it’s not 3 kids packing

I still don’t understand what the purpose of product hunt is. Who is the audience and what does a founder concretely gain from launching on PH?

In the US at least, the non-car infrastructure becomes less of a thing the farther out that you are.

I was just in Vienna for a week. I was surprised to see just how many people biked through the city. We obviously spent our time where the tourists do in the center, but how far out from there can you live in Vienna and still have what you

I'm in Seattle - I have a car and an e-bike. What I've found is that you can surprisingly get to many places using trails. For instance, you can get to the Costco in south seattle from places like Ballard or Interbay largely on se

No, I understand that changing the license is the issue drawing the reaction. But it looks like they're changing it in order to monetize. > It annoys the community when Redis starts out with a permissive license that attracts outsid

I guess I don't really understand the blowback when a project tries to monetize, but not when AWS takes your free shit and monetizes it for themselves.

I wonder how much safety work they have to do specifically because of this. I’d imagine their model might have a fairly paranoid, slightly racist bias if not. Particularly as younger demographics shifted away from FB in the last decade.

I thought I was balling with my dual 3090 with nvlink. I haven’t quite yet figured out what to do with 48GB VRAM yet. I hope this guy posts updates.

I do this with new people. Being new somewhere is a skill a lot of people I’ve hired don’t have. I toss them some meatballs so they can get a couple of quick, visible wins. You figure you hired them because they know what they’re doing, so

Wow. What a run, though. This is a hard business. I know, I ran a similar thing that was ever so briefly popular in the late 90s. I kept at it for a couple of years and maybe had a couple of reviews and articles get significant traffic over

I think it’s because you lose your buccal fat. I only notice it on people who are already fairly thin and taking Ozempic.

Thanks! I’m going to give this a try. I have a food saver I just wasn’t sure if I should leave space in the bag or not. Sounds like not and just vent the bag if it inflates too much.

Do you vacuum the bag and get all of the air out, or do you just kind of flatten it with your hand and seal it with space at the top for expansion? I assume it puffs up a lot. Do you have to vent and reseal it or can those bags handle it, a

Korea absolutely has an obesity problem - it's about a third of the population, but ~40% in men. Japan doesn't. But both also have issues with high suicide rates, alcohol abuse, and general overwork.
