Right, but in this scenario Walmart is closed and the people want food.

It's important to reaffirm before, during, and after the trip that you're totally "normal" and going to stay "normal". In my experience a "bad trip" is an anxiety/panic attack through the lens of

Although I'm sure the author had no malicious intent, I'm reminded of certain subcultures disguising not-so-great behavior behind comedy so they can claim it isn't serious when criticized. Edit: and I've just now remembe

I'm surprised and disappointed with myself for expecting more. Selling nudes is great... Until it isn't.

While I've only been hypnotized for therapeutic reasons, I would have definitely found a new therapist if my session contained any suggestions that would benefit the clinic... That's slimy.

I've always interpreted it as a "reason" to hang out, or a politeness thing. It also makes it clear that your buddy doesn't plan to shoo you out of their new apartment once you're done the job.

Canada, walking the aisles of Toys R Us. Thank you very much for the link, this is exactly what I've been looking for. Seeing the kits actually brought a smile to my face :)

I fondly remember receiving a bin of Lego roughly the size of a small microwave every Christmas during my early years. Inside was a green baseplate, a couple thousand assorted pieces, and a booklet with pictures for inspiration. Years later

Your comment is too true, especially about scratching the itch. Looking at the comments on HN first, I expected this to be a tutorial of sorts; I was totally surprised by the content within the post. Reading the article invoked the sense of

Requiring the legacy system to handle the request in parallel is exactly what this method is trying to avoid. If your old system has dependencies that you don't understand, I don't see the strangulation method working at all.

Had the pleasure of working at a company like this. Don't rewrite, don't you do refactor, and a proxy? How do you even spell that? The end result was me losing my "mojo" after a year of producing effectively nothing. I&#

I think you just described 80% of all React-based projects. Also the project README states clearly that this is an editor for Chakra UI, unless you were commenting on that library in particular (and not the editor).

Not entirely sure what you expect people to "argue back". Why not dial down the hostility and request a debate instead?

Appreciate the comment and was unaware that it had been edited after your second comment. I won't be diagnosing myself off of Wikipedia, next to no one in my family has the symptoms that I do so I doubt it's something like Segawa&

Hate to break it to you, but the OP's edited comment is far less harmful than yours. I've been suffering from a myriad of symptoms that happen to match up with Segawa's... a disease I learned about less than ten minutes ago.

If I can add on to this, I'd say it's okay for new devs to use a tool such as prettier without knowing how it works as long as they know what it's purposes is and why they're using it. I remember when I first started

Disappointed that this made it to the front-page of HN. Had it show up in my push feed because it was so popular; quite upset to click it and see the comments in here falling for someone who's a crypto scammer: - Redditor for 28 days;

Could you elaborate on this? I'm curious as to how a setup like this would work in practice. Many people in my family live in rural areas so the topic of restricted bandwidth/poor connection quality is of great interest to me.

I'm sure there are a few problems with this analysis that people smarter than I can point out but one thing that does come to mind is the age of a repository. I'm fairly confident that most of the highly starred Java and C++ repos
