Right, but it sounded as if they were implying the old HQ was in Silicon Valley. I'm sure that wasn't the intention, just clarifying for the possibility of readers who may misinterpret.

I'd just like to point out that Amazon HQ isn't in California, it's in Washington over near Microsoft, separated by half of California and the state of Oregon. Either way, I hope the same

Personally, no laptop I've ever owned had at trackpad that _didn't_ just work. Of course there were a handfull in the store at any given time that were mediocre, but that's why I try before I buy. The Mac trackpad is definite

I really like the interface Mazda came up with. Right by the shifter there's a knob that controls everything on the screen, which is as easy to glance at as the speedometer. Muscle memory still works to an extent

To my knowledge, it's a buzzword. That being said, I'm also not an expert, and would like to hear from one to be sure, since it would be interesting af if they actually are using machine learning for Ray tracing

It took me a good amount of googling to verify that, but you're mostly correct, there are only 132 developers with upload rights to the universe repository. Though I would argue that the distinction isn't just licensing, since Can

I don't like when articles make it seem as if neural networks think, and come up with results the way humans or alians would. They don't perceive, they don't reason, they just crunch numbers. Also, it's strange to say ne

Not closely enough that it would have been considered low level at the time, if you look at the instruction set C isn't even close to one-to-one with the machine instructions. See https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/PD

Except what I'm saying is that PDP-11 era C wasn't low level. It incedentally took advantage of some low level features, but that wasn't by design, and wouldn't have changed its classification as a high level language

Actually, the author's argument about PDP-11 is interesting because C would have never been considered a low level language back then, for any platform. Wiki definition, also what I was taught in my first CS class: "A low-level pr
