Amazon is clamping down on export paths. It's probably only a matter of time before Kindle Cloud Reader gets locked down with DRM too.

I think implicit in this argument is a proposal that society stops making excuses for anti-social people and behavior, and shames them and their behavior instead. Ironically, this is just a different incentive system! But IMO that doesn

Do you have evidence Pangram is unreliable? There are independent evaluations [1, 2] showing it works, and it's getting used more and more scientific papers. Have you used it or evaluated it yourself? What do you think these other eval

Sad to see you getting voted down. But I guess both the pro-AI crowd and anti-AI crowd hate Pangram.

Did they show the same news as everyone, but later? That seems like it doesn't fully leverage the format. The format seems like it would be good for things that are subtle and got overlooked at the time. But I guess maybe the normal ne

Maybe, but we should force them to make that argument after we demonstrate age verification doesn't require identifying ourselves to every website. It would reveal they aren't seeking pragmatic solutions.

What if I run it through an AI detection model (eg Pangram) first, and if the shows up as AI I skip it entirely. Does that work for you?
