"Research agrees that there indeed is more variability in males" would have been much clearer to me :) I had to click the link and read some of the article to be sure what you meant.

The best part of it is that just like the placebo effect it actually works. Speaking from experience. I mean, how can you look at your little child and not feel like you are looking at the face of god? It truly is a profound experience.

Just wow. So he's just a crank because he likes Bitcoin now? How easily you just brushed off the successful startup ceo of not one, but two huge tech startups (Twitter, Square). What do you think it takes to be able to do what he did?

This does not seems like a generous interpretation of what op said. The slight that op mentioned could have been surgical and precise, and just enough to kick off a conversation, and not enough to trample the interviewee.

OP is basically saying: "Here's what I did in order to do what I did". This reminds me of: Correlation does not mean causation. And: Survivorship bias.

When you start valuing new things, then you automatically stop having time to value the things you valued before. So you stop valuing them. Because your values changed. So let your values change. You'll be the richer in the end.

A sqlite db is just a file. So at that level it is exactly like a spreadsheet. It's just a much more powerful storage format. But for the app opening it it can be presented much like a spreadsheet.

Problem is that you end up spending so much time working against the framework when the framework is too opinionated. I prefer a framework that tries to get out of the way. It just gives you what is needed to structure your code, so that ev

The question was: "What would be a step up [from ssh] without a lot of extra infrastructure?" I think you just way overshot it. My attempt at a simple step up would be mounting the logs with sshfs and using your favorite editor.

The nodes control the network. The nodes decide what happens or does not happen in the bitcoin network. Bitcoin holders have no say in this. Bitcoin miners have no say in this. This has been thoroughly proven in the bitcoin block size wars.

That sounds like a pretty minor gripe and really more of a matter of taste. I believe I read the creator of Svelte say he prefers it this way because it makes creating Web Components out of a svelte component more straight forward.
