Tesla has over promised and under delivered so far. Comma has done the opposite. The Tesla beta software seems to be rapidly improving, so I've got my fingers crossed that Tesla pulls through in the end and manages to deliver something

Small incremental changes based on almost universal consensus, yes. Not the same as political change. The big block size guys failed to make a big politically charged change. Bitcoin has shown its resistance to political change very clearly

I've been hearing this sentiment ever since I heard about Bitcoin in 2011. Bitcoin has been through many huge crashes since, but the long term trend just keeps going up and up. So far the only fools are the one's that didn't

In trading you need a catalyst. A reason for why something will happen in a certain time frame. That's the basic premise for how trading works. If you don't have a catalyst then you are just blindly gambling or throwing your money

Put options have a time limit. So being early means you loose the money you used to buy the put. So yeah it is the same thing. And Michael Burry was a lucky mother effer that he managed to keep his put on all the way until it finally happen

You're relying on a nation state to behave in a certain way. This never works out in the long term. The winds of politics change on a whim. That's just history for you. With Bitcoin you instead rely on the intrinsic properties of

I'd love to see a benchmark between using this and a natively compiled sqlite. Just to see how much performance is lost to this convenience, so I can judge if it would be worth it in a concrete project for me.

I've downvoted your answer here as I think it is a ungenerous interpretation of the post you replied to. It's just as likely that OP did already know that what you are insisting on is not relevant to their use case. That might be
