His premise seems flawed to me. He says people should forget about F@#$ You Money because you can't depend on it to grow in this bad economy. That's reasonable. But then he suggests you aim for “f@#$ you influence and credibility” because

Don't waste your time with this. He's constantly saying studies agree with him but when pushed for an actual study this is the one he comes up with... There's a study called "The Laptop and the Lecture" that divided a class into two sets.

But there's a difference between the banning in Brave New World and what we consider the term to mean today (or what it meant in 1984). Most World State citizens couldn't read at all so banning books was done so they wouldn't be tempted to

Forbes contradicts this ( http://tinyurl.com/2exqhg7 ). Here's the quote... And, perhaps, persuasive. Total sales for Old Spice body wash at supermarkets, drugstores and mass market retailers excluding Wal-Mart were up 16.7% in the 52-week

Isn't this a good thing for us? Teacher is still a pretty low tech job even though technology could do a lot in the classroom. So wouldn't a lack of teachers force school districts to look towards technological solutions? There was an art

I'm going to take the long view and say next year. Apple is very Apple centric so I can't see them making a developer based announcement for anyone other than Apple developers. Based on that I'd guess WWDC in June 2011. Plus they're selli

For that to be true you have to argue that College grades are meaningless (because if you base your judgments on College grades you can let everyone in and judge them based on how they do once they're in). To take your logic a step further

I'm sorry but this is just over reaction. The big deal about the antenna issue is that Apple tried to cover it up NOT the issue itself. The issue itself can be fixed easily and cheaply by either using masking tape (as they suggest) or by

NPR is pretty left leaning. I certainly wouldn't call them unbiased. As for where to go I agree with the other comments. There is no unbiased news. I say check both. Add Fox News to your NPR habit and you should be fine.

Can you tell us more about what the site is built on (Language/Framework)? If you've built your site on something standard like Wordpress or Django than it will be much cheaper to implement these features. If it's custom all the way thing

Two things... First you aren't "Calling it like it is". You're passing judgement on the community based on what you perceive to be inaction. What I'm saying is we can't really act until someone who knows the other side comes to us and ask

She didn't really "school the author" in that he points out her humor falls into the "funny because it's true" category and it's the fact that she and her readers think it's true that really disturbs him.
