Based on Intel's behavior so far and the previous comment by Alderon Games' founder, I'm not sure why you're so willing to believe them at face value. > "The laptops crash in the exact same way as the desktop par

I picked the Ars article because they showed real-world performance like encoding. Geekbench scores are difficult to impossible to equate to real-world results. There are ways to measure it properly, but most sites seem to just do Geekbench

I think people generally expected larger improvements between iterations. Intel and AMD continue to deliver sizeable performance and efficiency gains every 1-2 years while it feels like the Apple M-series isn't getting comparable gains

This is the case for every company, not just Google. I've been the one internally trying to stop us from making a bad decision which ended up being made anyway. I can't distance myself from that. For everybody outside, there'

That's not 100% true. The pathfinding is atrociously bad in SC1, which is usually attributed to how they took the WC engine and made it isometric, but I assume was partly also due to performance. Whenever I go back to play it, that

That's the point, no? Ukraine isn't NATO. Ukraine can't do NATO doctrine. So Ukraine also can't win against Russia if they're this behind on artillery supply. This is an issue for Ukraine. It's not for NATO.
