Good point. The majority of Apache projects are Java. Amazon is also mostly Java internally.

I see this reason a lot but what are some actual examples of what is lacking in the .NET ecosystem vs. Java?

VS Code is also manageable. Or the CLI tools, if that's your thing. Rider is definitely the most equivalent to full Visual Studio though.

Unity is still using Mono these days which is missing basically all of the C# and .NET improvements from the past... 10 years now? Godot was using Mono too but has since switched to .NET in version 4. Still a great language and I hope Unity

Where does it say Riot bricked anything? They referred to the cards as paperweights but they don't need to be bricked to be a paperweight, being useless to the cheater due to Vanguard protections is enough. They definitely didn't

Depends how you want to look at it. On one side asm.js is just JavaScript with special JIT handling, so you should be able to mix them. On the other side you have C/C++/Rust/whatever compiled to asm.js which needs to go throu

If postinstall scripts are restricted the people behind these attacks will switch to something else. Package code is executed automatically by Node when imported, which could be a good replacement. It'll probably run when tests run ins
