Jeez a classic "the register" article full of "concerns", but no solutions. To be honest I'm growing tired of all these "AI will cause problems with X" articles that don't present any kind of solution

It sure was interesting. One gave me a bit of a pause. The rowboat... I immediately thought "a rowboat is not a vehicle (it's human powered), but how did he get the rowboat there in the first place?" So in the end I only said

Cool game, but let me comment on the method of detecting bias based on names... I think it'll only work for audiences that recognise these names in a way that triggers those biases. So it'll not be very useful for outside US.

Come on now! "a peculiar interpreted code" crashes your interpreter and you blame those that (allegedly) auto generated it? I realise there is a bit of tongue in cheek in there and Firefox is an amazing product, but although it&#x

Thank you. This is the kind of information I need to make it better :-) This is a fast phone with a modern Gpu (Adreno 730), it should run much better than on my devices. Perhaps it's because I haven't released Android 13 version

Not the Op, but I have recently been working on applying "state of the art" AI for translations into languages other than English and I was pretty disappointed with rather mediocre results from Chatgpt, normal gpt and Google trans

As someone who dabbles in making apps myself I'd rather get such feedback and have an option of fixing it (where it mentions genuine issues) than have only thumbs up and then everyone moves on because everyone thinks the app/site

Exactly. I've been advocating for people to move their communities to self hosted servers for quite some time. At the end of the day reddit doesn't serve video. Hosting bills would be cheap and cheerful with as much API access as

Very much so. Also anyone pointing it out in their forums gets ignored. On discord all you get as an answer is "shipping is hard". I got really pissed off once, because I invested a lot of time into developing for their products(s

Yes, but pine64 shipping is a serious pain point for many regions. I used to buy lots of cheap stuff from them with "EU standard shipping" to Poland that cost like 10eur. This shipping method has disappeared to Poland and many oth

It is important to note acts of EU parliament are just one stage of EU lawmaking and the fact "an act has passed" doesn't make it a law. Once such act has been passed there are many steps EU as well as member states have to t
