Er, WhatsApp is based on Noise for client server protocol, and Signal protocol for peer to peer encryption. Both were open standards before WhatsApp implemented them.

Fundamentally flawed idea. Places that need water are the most are dry, they have no humidity, as there is little to no water in the air.

TRUNCATE in a few databases effectively drops the table, and recreates it. If typing in an interactive session usually use a specific user account for it, with minimal set of privileges. And wouldn't have the DROP privilege or any othe

With databases, start a transaction first, then update, and look at the number of rows affected. If it's an oh shit moment, rollback, if not commit.

I think you are arguing from bad faith. Social Sciences has problems and it seems unwilling to do better. You had to be shamed publicly and widely. People have a right to know social sciences are this broken.

It did prove that the only people capable of pointing out there were problems with the hoax papers are people generally critical of the social sciences. That alone demonstrates a problem. That's why the experiment ended early. PZ Meyer
