Great stuff. This is also the editor that is used in Light Table. I also use it in my pastebin. I evaluated ace for this purpose, but it turned out to be much more of a pain to use, though I can't remember the specifics of why. 4Clojure pre

Yeah, the author of the post seemed to imply that web APIs are more likely to change than a website. At least, that's how I took it. Blew my mind.

I think he was implying that there is a correlation between size and evilness and that if namecheap grows too large, it could potentially turn evil.

It doesn't work at all for me. It just flashes the colorful lights for a minute, doesn't make the upload sound, and doesn't actually upload my screenshots. I tried emailing the author, but he hasn't responded. There doesn't seem to be any o

https://www.dropbox.com/developers/blog/19 is what you're thinking of, so yes. It's unfortunate though. With the Public folder, you can right click on any file and get a "Copy link to file" button. With the new sharing stuff, it opens up

I actually just bought Captured on the appstore for this specific purpose. Wish I hadn't now, since imgur uploading (part of why I bought it) appears to be broken. This works wonderfully. I miss the old Skitch, but this helps me heal.

There are other themes, but they didn't get packaged in this release. The next release will have a bunch of new themes (and I think I've convinced Chris to add my own tomorrow-night theme from https://www.refheap.coms codemirror editor to

I'm pretty sure the plan is to have support for all of the languages be addon-type things.

That isn't actually true. Vectors, maps, etc, are not seqs. You can get a seq view of them, but the collections themselves are not seqs.

Right, agreed. Services really were the hardest part of it, come to think of it. In this particular case, I was setting up the server for an intended non-private network.

Is Inspircd significantly more difficult to set up initially? I recalling taking a day or two to figure out how to set it up and link to services.

Why is the limit so small? EDIT: Never mind, read another comment where you pointed out it was running on a server with few resources.

I'm not sure what I said that was so terrible. I think Leah is great and I really hate hear news like this. I also agree that the service was good. My sole point is that companies that use this service also get hurt by this shutdown. When i

It's getting a little difficult to trust stuff by Leah Culver. Everything (that I know of) that she has done so far has either shut down or been acquired and shut down. That said, no hard feelings. It's hard out there. I've never tried to r

I didn't say it was critical of Clojure. It was misinformation and I called it out as such. Regardless of perspective, incorrect is incorrect. Furthermore, he did clearly state that lein's design is "Oogly" and seemed to be using his shell

FWIW, I don't think he has the slightest clue what leiningen is. It is hardly "basically a shell script which Does Things". It is written entirely in Clojure. All the shell script does is tie it together and bootstrap things. I'm fine with

You can use anything you want for templating. I tend to use Mustache (via the stencil library) for my templating. A lot of people also use Enlive.

I've seen a lot of cool stuff in Emacs, but I haven't seen anything nearly this nice done in any reasonable amount of time. Emacs is a predominately text-based thing. Light table is not. With that said, wouldn't his "It's hard for me to ima

I'm pretty sure the core of it is to be written in Clojure, so yes, you'll need the JVM running. It is necessary if it is to be written in a JVM language. Eclipse and a number of other IDEs also require a JVM to be running.
