In a way this is surprising to me. Shouldn't this destroy the gut flora, making it harder to digest/use the food ? Then again their entire gut flora might be anti-biotic resistant ....

Depends on your monitor, if you decide on 144fps/hz, that can take a serious chunk out of your CPU. Lets say a game runs easy at 75FPS on the cpu, and lets assume it's 60% used. If you want to crank out 144fps, you have a problem.

in 2017 you should be able to view the entire map imo ;) The cheating part however is true, the limited view creates extra challenges. The best solution is allowing servers to set the desired allowance.

Before people get all excited: OpenStreetMap barely contains any 3D data. You can get a layout, and guess the height of the houses, if not tagged/stored in OSM, and they usually are not.

Maybe we need a standard C++17-depricated/old ? In which the standard defines which features should no longer be used ? This should be optional for compiler to implement though.

Maybe instead of --fast-math we need a new type aprox_float to indicate, we (the programmes) allow this variable to take some shortcuts during computation. While we promise not to do things like div0. Edit: we must agree on a max deviation&

I meant mental health, I didn't mean mentally ill. Mental health even includes being unhappy. Not sure if violent acts are entirely random, I have not enough expertise on that. Currently I assume most acts of violence are not entirely

The best prevention is preventing criminal behaviour. By taking care of mental health, community, opportunity and support.

I doubt anyone here is feeling sorry for the thief (I could be wrong). It's more of an ethical / legal thing: Does one crime erode your rights (without the law / justice / trial) ?

Not really an answer to your question: but it's up to developers(of websites and applications) and users to kill flash, by not using it any more.

The same reason you want literacy in any other field: to not be taken by the nose, taken advantage of. Example medical care, in theory I should not know a thing about it. Yet not all doctors show the required dedication to figure out a prob

This one has capacitors and probably guarantees that what the SSD has acknowledged was actually saved. EDIT: also often these are guaranteed IOPS, so no stalling on the numbers due to garbage collection or such.

initramfs is also about keeping userland tools, like LVM out of the kernel. But to run the LVM tools you need access to a filesystem, which might be on a LVM. And there are quite a few other scenarios too. But if you can do without, be my q

Those usually need to be bigger to get an accurate colour selection. Also depends on the change to a colour I wish to make, if multiple colour pickers are available I usually end up using them all once in a while.

The same way to index websites: with web-spiders. They would need to write new code for this though. Also for HTTPS they also had to write new code.
