The Heroku deploy does appear to work, but I was hoping to get it all running locally. Thanks though! It looks like there's a ticket on the lwip project on github that is similar to my issue, so hopefully they'll resolve that soon

The phone OS may be open source, but is the sim? The sim card can run applications directly without the phone being aware of it.

fwiw, you could convert those wav files to flac without losing any quality and save considerably on file size. you'd also end up with the added benefit of being able to properly tag them
