How do you define interesting or exciting? I spent a summer in Sardinia a few years ago. I didn't meet anyone who was a programmer like myself, but I met plenty of people who taught me about food, literature, philosophy, herding sheep,

It would be unfortunate if otherwise eradicated diseases make a reoccurrence because of the ill-informed anti-vaccination movement. I hope this drug and others never has to see use in the future.

Which is ironically also how you fixed it. I'll never forget the "magic" of wrapping my Xbox 360 in several towels and overheat for 30 minutes to supposedly resolder it back together. It worked for another 6 months after that

Yeah, I don't think that's because you're a tech person. To most parents, their children may as well be tech experts because their bar for that is simply "they know more about computers than I do." I'm sure m

You're greatly overestimating the tech community's importance. The average person doesn't need any swaying to buy Apple products.

The kids were known to explore that cave regularly. Presumably they had followed a consistent path into the cave (or had a destination in mind) but never got that far. Some caves are also fairly linear, but that may not have been the case h

Next, let's dispel the notion that fat is bad for you. It's the strangest thing to me to see parents feeding their kids "skim milk", which is really just milk flavored water, because whole milk "has fat" and th
