Or you can live up to the challenge posed by American women. If you can manage that, Brazilian and Columbian women will also be interested, so you'll get to pick.

It's a bit oversimplified, but thinking of there being four areas helps for me. Physical, mental, financial, and emotional/relational. "Nerds" tend to do fine in the financial and mental areas, but they are generally lacking in the physical

You do realize that the reason men no longer do those things is precisely because women changed their role first? That said, you have a point. Outside of child-bearing (and even there...) marriage seems less and less useful. I don't see thi

I had around 60, but was only able to effectively make use of 30 or so... maybe not even that. Extra "credits" don't really help when your major is already heavy on required courses.

At least in my case, there is such a thing as going to bed when you are too tired. Some days if I miss my sleep window, I get "too tired to sleep." That probably doesn't make much sense as described, but I know at least some people can rela

Exactly. I don't suffer from chronic insomnia, but I occasionally go through bouts of difficulty sleeping, and my experience is exactly like you describe. I am completely exhausted, my brain "hurts" (by which I mean any form of input, wheth

People on HN say all the time, "Just because it isn't for you, doesn't mean there isn't an audience." For example, see the defending comments on the Ze Frank post today. Many of the apps Marco writes off as "crap" could easily fall into thi

Right but this is always a problem running on someone else's platform. To fix it you have to host everything yourself all the way down to the utilities level, where regulations don't really allow them to play favorites.

Tautology? You've just defined a successful site as one that used PR and faffery to succeed (even if we can't see it), making it impossible to argue otherwise.

I can see that to a degree, though I think some video games (especially indie ones) could be inspiring as well. But I appreciate that we all have our chosen muses.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see how not playing video games or watching TV is a creative constraint. I can see it helping with time management, but I don't see how it directly helps you improvise. Also, TV is in a golden age ri

That only makes it hard if you're buying a phone by name. The answer is always, "Whichever one is in the store," which is what most people will buy anyway.

Right... but if you agree to the price over the phone, don't negotiate in person. It's a dick move. If I'm selling my TV for $250, you agree to that, I drive to meet you and you low-ball me for $200, I hate you. It's that simple.
