SvelteKit is really, really great for small to medium sized projects. The amount of stuff you get "for free" (prerendering, ssr, decent SEO) by using SvelteKit is so nice. That being said, I definitely agree with the sentiment her

Warning: spoilers IIRC this is actually one of the plot points in the Three Body Problem, where they used the sun to send out a signal and make first contact with an alien civilization.

Shor's algorithm and Grovers algorithm are fundamentally very different. Most conventional asymmetric crypto algorithms are essentially all hidden sub group problems which are NP hard for classical computers. What Shor's algorithm

Maybe I'm holding it wrong, but my experience with sqlx is a bit more lukewarm. It's really great that compilation success means that you didn't fuck up any queries, but... there's just SO much boilerplate. I find that d

Truly, what compels a person to do such a thing? I too have struggled heavily with depression in the past, but I've never once felt the urge to repeatedly vandalize anyone's property. Like, I just don't understand what's

That's not true, I've worked at IMC and they extensively use Java for their production systems. The performance critical parts are a mix of hand crafted assembly, C, C++, FPGAs and a dozen other esoteric languages/techniques

I find it really cool that the "uncanny valley" that's audible on nearly every sample is exactly as I would imagine that the visual artifacts would sound that crop up in most generated art. Not really surprising I guess, but

The build process is very fragile for both Android and iOS. Basically, a patch version update of any of the capacitor libs or plugins has a pretty high chance of wrecking your build pipeline. Also the ecosystem is not in the best shape; the

Congrats on the release! From the looks of it Capacitor[0] has quite a big lead on in terms of support for native APIs (secure storage, SSL pinning, biometrics, etc) but hopefully they'll catch up quickly and avoid some of the mistakes
