I've been made miserable by tcl for the past year and a half. Even after this long I still have to constantly refer to the manual because of what an inconsistent mess it is. There are people at the office who have been dealing with thi

HN is not special. Every public exposure precedes a bubble, that's how it works, influx of new buyers raises the price.

This would've been so much easier if they just called Perl 6 something else. Would've saved them so much aggravation.

Why waste time, buy a service like codility and only interview the best couple ones. I don't work for any of those online code tests btw, but they're pretty good for sorting applicants and cheaper than your own time. Junior develo

I thought that was strange, glad to see I'm not the only one! And the differences aren't slight for me, crossing the border I seem to revert to the person I used to be 10 years ago when I left. It's strange to talk about but

And it went awfully quiet after the ico. I hate myself for using words like ico in every day speech. This the 80s all over again except with shittier music.

This is pointless, people are not buying VR because there is nothing there they really want to use it for, not because it costs too much. A gaming rig to run it will cost you more.

You are arguing with me about something that is easy to verify in 10 seconds by looking at the wiki page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IEEE_802.11 (it does mention a frequency hopping physical layer but that was part

I don't know what you're thinking of but no, you can't have that because if you had this magical hotspot your network card in your iThing would not know what to do because wifi does not do frequency hopping. Every time your h

That is not possible, it's not part of the spec. Maybe what you're thinking of is the wifi hotspot selecting the channel automatically when setting up a network based on the neighbours it can see. Nothing to do with frequency hopp

"Run of the mill bluetooth headset, mouse, or keyboard" manufactures don't make Bluetooth chips, they buy them. What part of the bt stack do you work on? You're saying nonsensical things, wifi does not do AFH. I didn

Tangentially related: if selling bombs to our enemy who we are at war with would bring in more money than the cost of rebuilding and insurance claims we would do it. What sounds insane to you is criminal for an executive not to do .
