But there's effectively 0 barrier to moving to something else, right? The simpler the API, the less lock in effect you get.

Interestingly enough, this guy solves that problem by... not selling it. Which rather defeats the point I'd imagine, for most thieves.

Is the implication instead that children should have two parents? Ie. Sharing the burden, more perspective and the like cause the benefits? If so, given that most children are born of conventional couples, it makes sense to say they should

Thanks for the reply, I get where you're coming from. I think I mostly just wanted to bring up the implicit assumptions that are made about the problems a certain group can have. I suppose a lot of these issues come down to these subtl

What makes you say the problems facing people other than man are far worse? I'm genuinely curious, because often conversation around these topics will go along the lines of "well, women have to worry about getting beaten up"

Reddit is a forum. It should not be hard to make money selling ads on the most popular forum on the internet. Hosting costs should be jack shit, developing costs should be pretty low, etc. Reddit must be funking up in a pretty fundamental w

Reddit destroyed any trust they had, so I'd guess it doesn't matter that much what they say in response at this point. It's too little, too late to say you'll keep API free for some people at this point. I think there&#x

Er... Windows PC says hello? Arguably Microsoft isn't "fully" open but Windows PC gaming is as open as it gets, and for all the complaints it is glorious compared to almost all other alternatives, if we're honest.
