I think a more fair interpretation is the managers don't fully realize just how busy you are and are following the path of least resistance. When you're more clear in your communication, it helps them understand. I'm not say

your last statement is only true if you believe in a binary world. In truth, a child can grab a can of soda out of the fridge without it being a safety concern.

a poor person will purchase a rundown $2k escalade before they purchase a $20k+ new civic. A poor person won't be purchasing a newer vehicle but that has no bearing on the make and model they end up driving.

your thought process is all over the place. Gen-x was more independent because they were allowed to be, the family size doesn't have a lot of bearing on that, but more than that it's a non-sequitur that somehow gen-x is a counter-

uninsured/underinsured motorists is a business risk for insurance companies, one they mitigated by convincing our government to make it required but they did so at the expense of placing an undue burden on the poor. My stance here is t

I grew up poor and rode horses, as others have said it's a matter of where you live. If you live in the countryside it's not a big deal, if you live in the middle of a city or suburban area it becomes more expensive.
