I've had an Android phone since the TMobile 3G (second ever Android phone) and I'm starting to seriously consider an iPhone. I'm not an Apple fan. I don't use any Apple products right now. However, it's impossible t

How would you define object storage vs. block storage? How do I know which one I need? This question is coming from a web dev who mostly uses databases on the backend so I'm unclear what constitutes an "object" in this case.

I took a nearly 50% pay cut when I started my current job. I had enough in savings that I didn't need the extra money and I really wanted to learn more about crypto, so I took a crypto job and I'm much happier here than I was cont

If you were so happy why did you start looking for another job? People don't leave because someone gave them an offer out of the blue. They have to start looking in the first place and whatever triggered that search is what's impo

I used to use a very cheap NAT VPS as an OpenVPN server but after it got terminated I found CyberGhost. It is a lot more flexible and usable across multiple devices with the downside of not being able to open incoming ports.

10GB Ethernet requires at least CAT6 or CAT6a cabling. CAT5e is insufficient. For home use, that means that the newer standards of 2.5GB and 5GB which do work over 5e are more reasonable for personal computers.

That picture is misleading. It doesn't show that the 6500 has >2x the clock speed and lower power requirements. 2x the clock speed is crazy.

Lodash includes guards for all it's functions which can help avoid "Cannot call function map of undefined" and similar errors. So I still prefer using lodash map, reduce, filter, etc for that added defensiveness.

My preference for when I have to do multiple operations on the same array (like filter then map) is "reduce". It's the most straightforward way other developers will understand what's going on.
