Cloudflare does not use Google's reCAPTCHA anymore, and hasn't for some time.

Sounds like they’d love your contribution. I hate when people prescribe tasks to others like this.

The other way to get them to actually do anything quickly is if it’s an Apple shipment. They value that contract so much that they will bend over backwards for both you and Apple to get it resolved, like same day 1 hour the driver will unfu

I knew I’d get the counter points here on HN, but I’d argue we’re probably the exception here. AWS can be really cheap, but it is easy for things to go wrong. Bandwidth, commonly unmetered at places like OVH or Hetzner, can cost a fortune a

Hobby customers aren't using AWS, by and large. And it's only a matter of time before we see more and more costs for IPv4 down in these tiers as well.

No idea, just a black screen that says “iOS is not supported.”

Cool, I wasn’t sure what it was since I only have an iOS device available to me. My first guess was some leaflet map with tiles of the game map, but this sounds more interesting to me then.

> iOS isn’t supported. Surprising, is it not just using leaflet or something similar for displaying the tiles? Or is it some 3d visualization?

Typically no, unless the item was of substantial value (1k+) it’s usually just left with the reviewing party.

There are plenty of communities on Reddit that provide truly useful information, tons of niches. We should be archiving this supposed "rubbish."

xrOS was likely one contender for the project until Marketing and execs came together on the final names. They chose a few and trademarked a number of them: https://9to5mac.com/2023/05/23/reality-pro-os/#

Spoiler: It isn't, it doesn't even run OpenSSH at this point anyway[1]. Gitlab has gitlab-sshd[2], which can be used in place of the OpenSSH-based approach as well. It is used on gitlab.com. [1]: debug1: Remote protocol version 2.

I wish it were that simple, sometimes. Not everybody is in a position to, for varying reasons. We’re privileged to have that ability. There are entire groups of people who just can’t because of being “black listed” for one reason or another

The big problem was case sensitivity in my opinion. It should have been case insensitive with discriminators. The current system means bob#1234 is a different user from Bob#1234.

Homebridge with the Hue plugin is incredibly simple and easy to put together, can put it on a Raspi. I’d recommend trying it.
