It’s also extremely common that a lot of the chains will have a “fuck you” mentality and just reuse an existing burger any way if they know you’re just trying to skirt the freshness. The real pro tip is to just ask nicely for a fresh burger

Common everywhere, they're "grill slips." It's not a new SKU, but a customization to it. Still, wonder how much analytics they pull on that when designing new products.

Thankfully we as savvy users are able to strip away information we don’t want sent to companies, via browser extensions and what have you. I’m concerned about the less savvy users who, frankly, never have even thought about this being an is

I took it differently, personally. To me it’s a double standard, we spent so much time going after the private companies with this law, that to have so much of the government’s own groups fail to even do a review of their own damn sites? Ug

Far from it, as the article points out. There’s a lot of weird, unknown failure points. And there’s always room for innovation in all industries.

He’s cringe at best, just as bad as the rest of them at worst. He’s playing for the camera, the audience. I wouldn’t take much of what he says seriously, but that’s just me I guess.

Eh... rarely is a pretty harsh outlook. We forget that these companies tend to have their employees supplying patches and features to many open source projects that matter (like the Linux kernel), working on standards, etc.

Some clients will feel ignored, even if you don't regurgitate the same stuff over and over again while there's no new useful information to disseminate (or not had the time to properly write it up). At my job, I wrote a small slac

I'm referring to more than just this case. In the future, if I purchased from Amazon a movie, and I transferred it to iTunes, how did iTunes get paid? They didn't.

Developing, support, and other costs are not $0. I'm all for portability, but I'm also for compensation to keep it working smoothly..

I'm curious how something like transferring to another service would work. The other service has a cost to endure per item, too (CDN costs, etc). It would seem unreasonable not to compensate the new "host". Do we have a fee t
