The growth is exponential - each backslash becomes two in the next iteration. Thus after n iterations we have 2^n - 1 backslashes, and we only need 30 iterations to hit a gigabyte (and that's assuming only one quotation mark in the ori

I tested this and on a new enough OpenSSH client, the RSA key gets replaced using the mechanism described here: https://lwn.net/Articles/637156/ (if you connect using a key other than RSA). To be honest, I'd

That is a common misconception. The destructor runs at the end of the scope. Try putting a println in a drop impl.

That's somewhat similar to what I'm doing with Miniforth [0]. Programming in a minimal environment is fun . I don't have a separate machine, so I'm booting my main laptop from a thumbdrive. The difference in boot time i

Wait, I don't follow. NEC had a license for the Intel chips, but then got sued for producing a chip like the 8086?

Does the 700 LoC core include a termination checker? If I understood your other comments correctly, that's planned for later, no? If so, I don't think this is a very apples-to-apples comparison.
