The citation is right over there, next to the citation for EV's having fewer parts and being more reliable. The correct statement would be that EV's have fewer moving parts which is correct but irrelevant because with EV's

They certainly do fail, many teslas are on their third drive unit now. And batteries do also fail. Not sure why you would say otherwise.

Yeah I don’t get why people keep repeating that electric cars have fewer components. Most of the car is exactly the same. But batteries have thousands of parts and electrical connections. Motors and the attached gears also fail. Everything

I was speaking to a car dealer client the other week and heard some funny stories, like selling off cheap batches of vans with various non-essential electronics missing - just holes in the dash - and the promise that units would be availabl

I am strainig my memory but I also think that the 386SX having the narrower memory bus meant less or no changes required from 286 motherboard designs, again making the overall system much cheaper.

It reads to me like you made this post without any real knowledge of the Falkland islands or their history.

I know what you mean. Same with James Bond, when the first books and even movies came out such travel and places were almost inaccessible to almost everyone. Just the places alone were so exotic and mysterious. It’s a different world now.

I like GoAccess because the reports work well with lots or vhosts in the same logs, which many similar tools don’t. Allowing you to see which sites are busy, taking resource, have unusual patterns etc.

To be cynical, I’m not sure how fast responding and controllable rusting and un-rusting iron will be. But even so this sounds useful.

I disagree. Seeing 100% CPU but a low speed in windows task manager is a strong easy signal that you need to look at thermal issues. Taking away that information makes troubleshooting harder. It is also ‘truth’ in that moment and adjusting

Glad we stuck with SolarWinds! These RMM tools are just too juicy a target for the ransomware gangs now. This is going to keep happening.

I’ve used Migadu for about 3/4 years now to provide email for hosting clients. They’re good. They had a little wobble at the start of the pandemic but otherwise no issues. You get full dmark, dkim etc and autodiscover. Massive mailboxe

I think here the concept of Wokeness has been somewhat muddled and hijacked of late, and this has created/allowed a bit of push back against the perception of what woke is becoming. With regard to previous owners of some national trust

I apologise if I read more into your initial post than was there. However I think the whole discussion thread 100% proves the point that politics should be kept out of the workplace.
