Yeah. JPEG-XL is a really good replacement but it seems like it's getting nowhere. It's been years and the adoption is still quite underground.

Nautilus is a very barebones file manager. I really love Dolphin compared to it, it can be made simple or complicated depending on your needs.

The tools for the most part. One doesn't have to hack the system in order to make it POSIX-compliant. Mac doesn't make a better developer of course, but it's better than having Windows.

I just gave you real examples of how they're so inconsistent and difficult on Mac. Linux uses Ctrl for most things, you don't even need to lift the finger up away from Ctrl for most shortcuts. Super key is only used for OS shortcu

If I were hiring, I'd give special preference to Mac and Linux users. Not because you can't learn Linux on Windows but because using Linux is usually a sign that the person is not afraid of a little discomfort, not afraid to learn

Telegram regularly bans channels that promote hate-speech or do illegal activities. The only issue is, their team is way too small for moderation, which is why so many weird communities keep popping up. I’ve been on Telegram for 5 years and
