Ditto. I now try not to binge on pasta or whatnot, and I find that I don't get that same carb-full grim satisfaction afterwards, but I also don't then feel bloated and heavy either.

Walking home every day. It's about an hour or so, vs my 20 mins on public transport, but it's become a good time of meditative reflection and has provided me with some fitness benefits. It's also time I'd otherwise spend

To be honest I'm not particularly surprised that there's a religious undercurrent to them. I don't exactly know how to quantify it, but as an outsider that's just sort of how I'd expect US propaganda posters to be.

We use the spelling datum/data. We pronounce it 'dar-ta' not 'day-taa'. I want to say we pronounce it 'day-tum' not 'dar-tum' but both sound fine to me, possibly thanks to all of the exported Ame

If even that. You're usually hard-pressed to find people who charge a transaction fee (that is, not built into the price of the goods/service). I can think of a handful I encounter with any level of semi-regularity.

This is a really amusing comment after watching the 9-12 minute segment of the video. :) For what it's worth, I very rarely run into cheaters. I couldn't specifically identify the last time I ran into one, in fact.

I'm not sure how I feel about this number-to-name lookup system. instant inter-bank transfers are well overdue and in theory being able to verify where you're sending cash is lovely but it's definitely a double-edged sword.
