There will always be lies out there. Sometimes the information is subjective to whomever is reading it. It's on the individual to determine first what he would like to read, and second, if it's true or false. I care that everyone

Most of the torrent sites I use, such as TBP and Limetorrents don't require an account or certain ratio at all.

Before reading the article I thought to my self NSO isn't allowed to be deployed against US citizens/infrastructure and sure enough the article says that NSO is on the Commerce Department blacklist. Even though the repercussions s

Thankfully there are alternatives to banks when they try to dictate, such as cryptocurrency or even Hawala. I've used both with great success.

"especially when we offend" This is a fundamental premise of freedom of speech and a large reason as to why it exists. For some reason your comment was flagged, I vouched and voted it up.

It's very interesting you mentioned this because I noticed this behaviour on another unrelated VPN service. It appeared to be a SSL stripping attack. Is that what happened to you, waselighis?

Or how about driving back home in rush-hour traffic after working an entire eight hour day? Even worse! Anyone advocating that people must return to the office are extreme lone-wolves. Or a CEO fronting as an employee.

At this point, what is the difference between a hardcore criminal and the intel agencies? I would trust an everyday criminal before one of these organizations, and I'm being totally serious. The ordinary criminal does not harm me. What

I've heard this before as well and have even seen some darknet sites not using HTTPS due to trust issues.

Can this replace something like iDrac? Is there any other open source IP KVM projects out there? It's been on my mind for quite awhile.

There are definitely alternatives. Not sure if some people are just less exposed to the entire market and are unaware that there are choices out there. I don't use Mullvad just because of how large they are.

In that thread I learned a lot about Mullvad, thanks. Saw a few comments that made me wonder though.

It's not too esoteric, fortunately. The short explanation is they are a part of the Israeli gov, as with all tech companies in that territory, so that gives certain material advantages to their preferred companies, just like how USA do

It is increasingly bizarre in my opinion how this company (and others like Toka) can run active terrorist operations, that if anyone else smaller was doing some of the same hacks they would be in prison for a very long time. People have los

So, you would like use to Curl | Bash a TLA security guidance script, really? No package and hash database? It's trivial to detect when a script is being downloaded to disk or piped to a shell, btw. I saw this same group post another t

I am so tired of the lies. Encryption doesn't stop you from 'catching bad guys,' it only stops you from mass-spying. Furthermore, I'd argue that the real 'bad guys' in the present day is LE its self. The acts t

I'm very confused about your last bullet point. I don't use physical banks for my finances and do all my finances online (like many people). I regularly move thousands of Euros and don't see why I would need a physical bank.

I have worked for a boss like that but it really wasn't bad. He knew what he wanted, and left us alone to do our jobs. No micromanagement from middle managers, was very nice.

Actually, not talking to or interacting with the police sounds like the most rational advice for American's right now.

I have actually been in many negative encounters with police. Far more serious than traffic violations. You can still tell them to fuck off and remain silent. Sometimes they will threaten things like X or Y charges, or someone told us this,

This is very much the truth, I used to work in infosec. Plus the moral implications of working for the feds! Too much on my conscience.
