That is so sad. I've used their services for so long. Anonymous file and image hosts are such an important part of the free and distributed internet. Does anyone have any recommendations for anonymous file hosts? Thanks.

Thanks all for replying, I'm sorry I didn't realize that there were replies until now. The advice is great and I'll see if I can get some of the models I referenced running under Linux now and will report back with a write up

I've seen this mentioned in some guides I have read (I believe this is the one you are referencing: https://github.com/oobabooga/text-generation-webui ) and will definitely look into it, thanks!

Thanks, yes I've seen someone else mention trying Llama.cpp. I'll see if I can set it up, I'm new to this and will look for a guide on how to use Llama.cpp and report back as if it builds and runs well on Apple Silicon. I thi

Thanks for posting the guide. I took a look at it doesn't appear that the ISP is performing any DNS hijacking. I'm using an updated copy of Firefox and Firefox ESR without any extensions. This has happened on Safari using MacOS as

I really appreciate your reply, and I definitely considered my router being vulnerable/hacked. I flashed/updated the firmware and even swapped it out for a bit with a different router but same issue. I was using an updated copy of

From what I gather, this is a Rust implementation that runs Llama2. Can it run any other models like the ones I'm having trouble finding info about?

Yes, a VPN does drawn more attention to your self, especially with the automated targeting. Best practice is to use an uninteresting VPN of your own, say to a very well known cloud provider as many businesses do this, or to a well known VPN

The additional security comes from people not being able to tamper with the routing table or DNS on the ISP side and redirecting your connections.

The vast majority of gov jobs are very low skill and effort so of course they like degrees. It's a checkbox they can fall back on to say the person is "qualified."

Wow! I'm glad that everyone joined in your cause as well and the CEO offered you so much to stay. The best thing you could have done (and did!) was leave. Very happy for you.

I've noticed that CEO's who forced people back to the office really regretted it after the senior engineer's and related all quit. They offered to make it remote again but by that time all of their talent left so at least two

It's not worth it to get certs in general. As long as you can do the work, education is far down on the list when it comes to hiring. Even recruiters will tell you that these days, "Do you want someone who can do the work, or do y

VPN's definitely work if you use them correctly. There are plenty that don't give any gov data, especially not in real time. Yes, the capability is there if the provider runs Tcpdump/Wireshark on the server, but that can only
