You always have to start somewhere. Do you want to code all the OS from the ground up, or do you have minimal expectations about the environment your software will run on? Do you want to look at all the tiny details, or do you wish to focus

Err, the 'n' resembles 'η' (the greek letter eta). The 'W' looks like 'Λ' (a capital alpha with quotes). Maybe there are other confusing similarities. I wouldn't use that font for maths, if it me
