I'm making a game around the pretense that people would enjoy watching someone do this online. It's cool that people are into it in person. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1537490/Tentacle_Typer/

Thank you! I'm always trying to plug things into the wrong things when it seems like they might work in a fun way. PIDs have been a remarkably versatile hammer for lots of things that aren't nails.

My twitter is full of animations ( https://twitter.com/LeapJosh ) Not many other cool uses of pids specifically. Each tentacle is rigged to a chain of bones, somewhat ironically. The bones are physics objects I apply torques

PID controllers are so fun. I experimented with using them to animate tentacles for a game I'm working on. They're great for all sorts of controllers in fiddly physics based systems. ( https://twitter.com/LeapJosh&#

This reminds me of generating signed distance fields from bitmaps by rendering a cone at every target pixel with a vertex color of white at the point and black at the base. I like the method because not only is it silly, it's also very

My first job out of college, I had a manager sit behind me for 8 hours a day with the ol' "move that one pixel to the left, no, 2 pixels to the right.. no back again" after I had impressed the customer with some fast results.

Ah yeah that's a good idea. Assuming there's no reasonable way to do an iframe breakout, that is. I suspect any way I attempted to put this together, ner-do-wells would upload a game that adds upvote/like/subscribe/

Surely somebody has written some verilog somewhere to blow a fuse if something starts oscillating too fast! Because that wasn't her only lie, I'm not going to give her the benefit of the doubt that she was giving good faith retent

My intuition is that the answer is "uhh, no." -- is there any secure way to run untrusted javascript on a page? So that we could have those awesome newgrounds style wildwest galleries where people upload their weirdsies again. I&#

I'm making an FPS game right now that is comparatively an extreme technical challenge for players. You're a first person tentacle monster with a mechanical typewriter, and the words in your heart, as your weapon. No multiplayer pl

I'm 200~ days into making a game/text editor hybrid (you're a tentacle monster with a magic mechanical typewriter). I've spent some effort making things accessible. Some fun unexpected things occurred during this process

Where's one find a reputable broker? I've wanted an isuzu npr elf for a long time. You can get them, but the prices seem vastly higher than they go for overseas. Your shipment cost makes direct import seem down right sensible.
