Find the people who currently hire for such jobs. Tell them what you want to do, ask them what they look for in candidates. Turn yourself into the candidate they're looking for. This works for all other jobs too.

Bear in mind the U.S. has two main political parties; the right-wing one, and the even more right-wing one. The U.S. papers simply can't afford to be centrist or leftist.

The U.S. does not have a list, though. The U.S. simply doesn't do sterile transit. That's (a large part of) the complaint.

I think he doesn't mean robbed. Robbery is theft with the use or threat of violence. Yes, I know that the dictionary mumbles something half-hearted about it being the same as theft.

If the insurance company suspects that you've done something like this, they will wait until you need to claim (so they can take in the premiums) and then deny a payout on the basis that you formed a company purely to get round having been

That makes no sense. The cost to the publisher of an additional electronic subscription is tiny. Really tiny. It's comparable to the cost of sending one more eMail when you're already sending out thousands. If they had to give 30% of all th

The question here for the publishers is whether or not this will increase their sales, or just move them about. If they have all the subscribers they were going to get anyway, AND some new ones thank to Apple, they've made more money and th

It's crippling innovation before people even begin. I was chatting about encryption with some young chap, and I suggested a good way for him to learn about the practicalities of it would be to just sit down and code. He was astonished; he g

Believing BillG on it when you could just do your own review of the data is as foolish as believing JennyM. Being successful in one technical field does not make you a medical expert. Look at Howard Hughes, for example.
