Indeed. Right now I only have pidgin, evolution, transmission, two nautilus windows, a telnet client and firefox (with three tabs) running. It's completely unnecessary and I should be forced to never have more than one running at a time.

An awful lot of that does sound like psychological torture dressed up to just about make it possible to present some kind of legal argument that it's for other purposes, and the damaging effects on the detainee are an unfortunate by-product

Soon to be joined, I expect, by one of the two brand new ones. Look sharp and you can also buy the aircraft to go with it, as the UK has decided to simply hope no carrier-borne aircraft will be needed for a decade or so.
