Not very much, as I work in a high position in traditional finance now and would rather not go into detail, but your perspective seems to match mine very closely. It's not even casinos, that'd be 100x better still. I've seen

My comment was not in defense of cryptocurrency, in fact I am in a similar situation as you, spent 2 years in the space and have given up completely. DeFi is a disgrace. The shit happening there would be unfathomable in regular markets. How

I highly recommend this research article to understand the philosophy of cryptocurrency better, and why it is not a solution to anything, but offers great insight into the actual nature of the problem. https://journals.sagepub.co

Ketamine is indeed apparently causing strong and long-lasting improvements in major depression even after single doses in clinical settings, with no continuous dosing required. https://www.nature.com/articles/nature2550

That's true, Ketamine is absolutely fascinating and apparently absolutely fire-and-forget for depression. Either doesn't work, or works fantastically well. I was talking about microdosing LSD, although now I wonder if there is suc

Calling the effects of LSD placebo effects is not valid to begin with, which anyone who ever took LSD could confirm. It is also not Adderall or a stimulant, so there will be no extremely and immediately obvious changes in performance, etc.

Microdosing != high. If you're high, you took way too much. True microdosing should have almost unnoticable effects. Regarding your other statements, they mirror very closely what I've also described.

As someone who has spent a few weeks microdosing, the effects of LSD are definitely not a placebo effect, BUT! Psychedelics are not fire-and-forget like SSRIs, Adderall, or any other substance class known to the masses. Psychedelics bring u

As much as I agree with you, I don't think it will. Unaware identification with the mind is rampant and black-and-white thinking as a consequence as well. It's going to take a long time until these patterns resolve slowly.

series_id - definitely looks like a mistake - timestamp could just be Unix time? I always use ints for unix times too, I have no hard data on that decision, but it feels like that might avoid a little bit of overhead.

I appreciated this article more than I would've assumed. They are right, we tend to focus too much on failures and problems and forget about honoring success.
