Is it, really? With Windows you can just download an app. With MacOS you sometimes need to pick between Intel or Apple Silicon. For Linux you invariably have to navigate list of Deb or RPM, perhaps TarGz files, maybe a torrent or two. Stick

Whilst effort in this space is to be congratulated, a job board is only as good as the quality and quantity of the roles offered. What makes your site any better than the other numerous boards out there? Why would Acme Inc be drawn to posti

In other countries, maybe, but what we’re experiencing in the US seems very much based upon “lie” based media consumption. Right now we have political candidates who will cheerfully, and without pause, tell lies and use any form of image ma

There may be a bit of a gulf between what they claim, and what they can realistically and financially provide. I prefer to see long term real world results myself before I start to worry about any possible ramifications, myself.

Wasn’t CockroachDB open source, right up until it wasn’t? I think a better question is perhaps “what alternatives are there that are not owned by VC backed corporations?”

A $37.49/$49.99 subscription is one heck of a high price for an app that’s basically a one-trick pony that may get used a few times a year. I don’t mind paying for apps myself - even subscriptions - but this one’s a hard pass from me
