The Arm people would still be there running the company, it's not like they all get fired and overnight it's Nvidia people with no experience doing it.

96% accuracy may be a problem... Depends how many false positives and false negatives, but if there's 4% of false negatives and there's, say, 1% of the tested population that has the disease, then even a positive test may mean you

If anyone wants more, I liked the recent biography: "A Mind at Play" https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/32919530-a-mind-at-play The author is interviewed in the documentary.

I think it's a case of security being hard and an arms race. Kind of like Google and Facebook have to constantly run faster to stay in the same place against attackers, and sometimes attackers win a little more, and then they again get

Lots of things that work aren't supported by scientific research (yet?). It's your choice not to use it, but to claim that something is bollocks probably means that you will never follow what most people tell you about lots of thi

Toyota has squandered its huge lead in hybrids and is now quite late to EVs. I'm glad to see them make these moves, but this should've happened over 10 years ago. These things take time.

Guetlzi comparison is mostly against JPEGs you can find in the wild (ie. from a digital camera). In my experience, Guetzli is a lot slowly than mozjpeg, but tops up at much higher space savings when the conditions are right.
