It's a shame for that price digitally. Physically it basically is priced to not be sold.

When people can make middle class livings again without being shut out of a job for lack of a college degree. My previous job I worked at required a Bachelors in business of any kind. I got it because I worked at the company and basically b

My uncle is an architect and he's desperately trying to retire. It's so obvious that he was only in it for the money.

Banks don't need to be. If half their customers declare bankruptcy or default on their mortgages, loans, etc; The bank won't have enough liquid assets to take on the subprime loans.

I know it sounds douchey but it's how to play the game. I just stopped. I lost complete interest in it at this point. My hobbies are more interesting.

That's the game. An incentive structure will not fix that.

Hinge has been my best one too. I hate the $20 price tag per month though. Basically extortion. Tinder is a joke now tbh. Bumble is like tinder but saves the guys time. OkCupid is bloated and nobodies on it.

I have to disagree on that model. That may work for dudes who aren't confident and can barely make a decent profile. But for guys who can, it would be extremely annoying that I have to pay to attempt to date someone I'm not really

Every architect I've met is like a jaded COBOL programmer at the government that refuses to leave their niche because change increases the chances of you getting fired.

Yes and no. Reddit is nothing what it once was. I do wholly recognize that reddit has typically had a younger audience. But it was not as "we need a socialist revolution, hyper-progressive moderatism, 1 letter top comment"-y as it

That would've been funny then actually. I mean how irate would your manager who just got you fired now realizes his new employee is you again! The fake mustache and joking about didn't make it seem serious at all. He should'v

I think it's because reddits user base has significantly decreased in age. I have been using it since late 2012, which even then I felt like a late adopter. The content on Reddit back then was like a more ”normie" version of HN an

I'm gonna go down in the flames here but Unity was great. It was very stable for one thing. I never had an issue that I do with literally every single other DE that exists. XFCE is stable but customization is a time consuming affair. K

I feel like most anxiety among people today is due to lack of confidence. Confidence isn't just about getting things done in time, it's also about willing to accept the outcome of an event and run with it. Without it bothering you

I had to fix someones workflow where they had it kicking off other workflows endlessly stuck in a loop until someone changed something. They could take a week to follow up. So no, I think only trained teammembers should be allowed to touch

Obamacare is utter garbage and costs ridiculous amounts of money. It impoverishes poor people far more than it helps. They should've provided a tax credit to people who pay in with it. Instead they just reduce AGI. What a joke. Honestl

Hoovervilles were not filled with rich people. In fact, in 2008, expensive cars barely saw a dent in sales cause the people that can afford them are heavily resistant to shocks of that caliber. Rich people are most definitely not creditors.
