So what if they call themselves an aptitude test? Believing what it says on the label is naive. I prefer to think of it as Jordan Peterson would say: it's a dragon guarding the treasure you wish to obtain. Your goal is to find a way to

Not just the rich. I was an immigrant kid, and knew plenty of other immigrant kids. None of our families had much money, but we all had a do-or-die attitude about education and the SAT. You can bet we all knew about prep options, scholarshi

Kim's whole business is doing paid promotions to her Instagram followers-- typically $250k-$500k per promotion. Turns out that's illegal for securities, unless you disclose how much you got paid. If she'd added a footnote to

The top 0.1%? You are never going to beat them, and you know it. They will ignore or sidestep your laws, and most of the time they'll get away with it. This will, occasionally, produce a left-wing movement and sweep some politicians in

I agree that we should have both ISPs and major social networks as common carriers. Based on talking with Republican friends, I think the difference is that social networks are well-known censors. If Xfinity was known to censor as aggressiv

Are you sure? There are lots of people with six-figure salaries, people who are increasingly single and childless. They can afford a hobby or two, and becoming a Star Citizen whale is still cheaper than taking up skiing or hobby flying.

Very few of these 13 year old accounts are going to have valid card data on file, though. Any cards that were valid back then have long since expired. Seems to me that they're just spamming a bunch of people for no reason?
