The main purpose is to send you a push notification when your friend joins, since a push notification can't execute client side code... that wouldn't work.

Preface: I will joining Path this Summer, but I do not speak for the company in any way, nor have I spoken with them about the situation. This is a purely technical reply... You cant guarantee a unique hash. When you hash users' data there

Generally their prices for memory is never reduced until a model is updated. So early on in a product's life the price is more competitive. I once heard it was because Apple buys a ton of it up front (and gets a better price on it as a resu

Fortunately there are designers out there who are willing to help with OSS projects. Cappuccino is a great example of this. Sofa has made 3 versions of Aristo (our theme) for us; they also helped design many other open source apps. Even tho

While I agree being able to access the clipboard without flash would be very useful, I don't think disabling javascript URLs are a good idea either... A lot of very interesting and useful things can be done with bookmarklets. I suppose give

Sofa built a great app, enstore that lives on under it's new owner. Plex also has a Cappuccino component. Pixar built an internal app a while back. There are various others we've mentioned in the past, and several internal apps which unfort

It was actually that people love Cocoa so much that we wanted to built it on the web. As a result, Objective-J was born, since it makes a lot of sense in the context of Cocoa.
