I thought this story sounded familiar.

Going to be great for web based podcast apps that do live broadcasts like Curiocaster; https://curiocaster.com

I had no shame giving them a false name, address, and phone number for mine. I'm also aware that there are clubs that pool and swap their discount card fobs to muddy the data.

A really bad one is the police lights at night. A police car on the side of the road with the lights on is so intense I can't look anywhere near it. I am convinced this is one of the reasons why those cars and officers get hit so much.

This is a good point also. Oddly enough it's the LED taillights that get me on this topic. Very easy to notice if you are glancing around.

Not mentioned in the article; the people that have high beams on 24x7x365. What are they thinking? Local issue; Carolina squat. Trucks lifted in the front only, back end winds up way lower than the front. Looks absolutely stupid to me but t

I don't know where your here is but true, that's another way to do it. In the US there's competition showing how fast the service is in advertising. Which of course has fine print; "during times of congestion you may exp

You really have to sit back and admire the marketing team that came up with this spin.

Unlimited also generally run a lower QCI priority overall so that any other users on the tower will push you out if things are busy. Most people don't even notice this bit. Reddit for nocontract has some posts tracking plans QCI priori

That's exactly how old paint worked. Ctrl-a for select all and place things so that the top & left is where you want it and then you can grab the handle to do the bottom & right. Always done it that way. I'll look for the

I have started using snip and sketch but it occupies a different part of my work flow. Generally with paint I'm editing something existing and I don't think of S&S for that.

It pains me that the easy crop handles in mspaint seem to have gone away in win11. I don't have a win11 machine in front of me but I'm thinking there is now a tool to accomplish simple crop in the new and "improved" mspa

Gas heat probably should be tuned up for clean burning every year or two. A heat pump is generally good for years until something breaks. Both systems need filter changes and coil cleaning, which most homeowners can do themselves. Couple &q

Very true. Simply having gas available to use results in a base bill for service, even if your usage is zero. And yet what I see time and again is that initial purchase price is the only focus for construction costs, even rehab work. Those

That's fascinating and I believe you were subject to some weird market conditions there. Look at the complexity of gas burners vs a reversing valve and electric heat strips and I think you will see what I mean.

I remember seeing the same articles coming out when 10 came out. At the time there was also mention that they back ported the same collection schemes into win 7 updates.

Is someone publishing a block list for this garbage that is compatible with PiHole or pfblockerng? Or has MSFT moved beyond these easy block methods?

I just spent a minute and I'm having trouble wrapping my head around TOTP challenges with yubikey. Like scanning the QR to get the key in it, how do you query it to answer the challenge etc. Must be an app involved?

This was my first thought after OP edit, lol, good luck doing this all yourself under the time limit. OP needs to educate themselves on 2FA methods. Google authenticator exists, but I'm trying to get google out of my life. I think Bitw

YES. There is a massive electrification push right now because electric items can be fed from "sustainable" things like wind/dam/solar and don't emit CO or CO2 in operation. Heat pumps are also inexpensive on initia

Typical clickbait title, my main takeaway was; this security actually works that well? Sign me up. Give the original owner 30 days and if no response unlock it and let the thieves win? Uh, no I don't think so. It's not a far stret

In most cases yes, but the author said this one was showing signs of the firewire port failing. If it dies in your hands that really sucks financially.
