Tim Sweeney has been pretty crystal clear about his feelings disliking walled gardens and monopolies for at least a decade, since well before the Epic Games Store or Fortnite existed. He is very much a tech guy, not some super savvy cutthro

The ideal combination is voice acting with a skip button that skips a line of dialogue at a time. That way you get a sense for the character’s voice and style of speaking, but you don’t have to waste your time waiting for them to deliver ea

I know it’s not seen as a professional service, but Discord has great quality video chat (better than Zoom, for example). I don’t know if its privacy/security would hold up for larger companies but we use it in my tiny company with no

They did use crypto and the government blocked those crypto accounts too (at least to the point they can), which I fully support.

Well he did say “this is their new hoax” (at 7:30 in this speech: https://youtu.be/H2BO_2bnx3k ). And yeah, he wasn’t talking about the virus itself, but about how the democrats were turning it into a big issue… which of cou

I’m not sure how that relates to this at all? If you think anything I wrote is untrue then point out which specific items.

Not that I disagree that it’s a useful program but it feels strange to congratulate it being “well thought out” when it seems to be a clone of Figma.

The mortality rate isn’t really the problem with covid, it’s the way it overwhelms the hospitals, as has been demonstrated over and over again. Anyone who thinks the measures have been overblown has simply not talked to anyone who works in

Absolutely agree about the tremendous amount of money wasted on the military and policing, but not sure why you’re putting “social justice consultants” in that same category, when they have many orders of magnitude less impact on the budget

I agree that Quordle is compelling but not sure I see your argument for how Wordle would get repetitive. 2300 is six years worth of words. They could shuffle the word list every 4 years and it’d be fine. I think a big part of what makes Wor

Fair enough. Since we’re on HN I’m also curious about your business model. How will this startup eventually make money? It sounds like the idea is to publish Godot games from members in the community?

Maybe I’m missing something but why not actually finish a game first instead of making a community about finishing games? How can you know what those people need without doing it yourself?

Obviously I disagree, and I find it strange that you tried so hard to distance yourself from anti-vaxxers and freedom convoy members in your earlier comment when it seems clear that you agree with them.
