Because it IS just a label. It has no inherent value or meaning. It's merely a descriptor which can be true or false. Hardly, Compilers make sense, Humans do not at times.

I don't really care for startup time as once a browser is open it doesn't get closed till a reboot comes around which for many will be the case. I do care for nice things not eating up my cores. Here's a simple example I botched together. F

Same here, it would appear Apple is a bit too aggressive with it's power management and it's confusing the living daylights out of the ATI driver when it's on automatic. Switching manually works a treat sofar... http://codykrieger.com/gfxC

It isn't, a cocoa / quartz friendly port is already partly done and runs well as long as you don't need all the esoteric functions that VICE offers. Binaries available on the VICE page. For the really concerned, Xquartz is the basis for X11
