I left bigco to a -much- smaller company, like <50 people. I recognized it as a career speed bump and slight pay cut, but it’s in the tech I like to use and I am actually writing code. Three months in I’m more than happy with my situatio

Incredibly fast. I wonder if they've released verification that it matches llama 70b on regular hardware?

As a child I read anything I could get my hands on. That ended as I grew through high school, college, and the first few years of my career. But recently a few of my friends and I started a book club and I'm on track to read more books

I'd advise that the demo links to a live demo, not a YouTube. That's one of the perks of JavaScript. You can throw up a stackblitz or whatever and have your demo for the masses to see.

My car only has wireless Carplay, yet it supports wireless and wired Android Auto. It sucks. The only thing worse would not be having Carplay at all.

Why didn't they hire the allotted offers then implement a more aggressive PIP? Asking from a place of genuine curiosity, I don't know how this stuff works at this level. But seems to me it would have saved reputation to trickle-cu

First chapter of Ministry for the Future- incredibly powerful and harrowing. Every following chapter- terrible, not worth your time.

This is surprisingly fun to play with. Would be interested in seeing a brief paragraph about the technologies used in the About section.

This feels scammy and low quality. Compare this site with something like https://cursor.so that targets a similar idea.

"Readability" is very much still a thing. It's a mess and would be one of the worst things to take from Google. If you can't enforce the code style you like through autoformatters and linting, it's not worth enforci

Yes, this is a relatively common practice. There’s of course still the chance you make a mistake setting up the feature flag and bring down production/expose the feature to users who shouldn’t have access.

Red River Gorge is a gem for the rock climbing community. I frequented the area a few years back, there's plenty of places to dirtbag around outside of the tourist cabins. Hoping the continued development stays positive.

It is incredibly worth it. I had low expectations going in (not a huge fan of Nolan's recent work and the trailers for the film left a lot to be desired) but I find myself in California recently and there's an abundance of 70mm IM
