It is incredibly worth it. I had low expectations going in (not a huge fan of Nolan's recent work and the trailers for the film left a lot to be desired) but I find myself in California recently and there's an abundance of 70mm IMAX sets here. Bar none the greatest theater experience I have ever seen.
