Fork/exec is great if you actually want the traditional copy of your process for some reason. For launching something totally new, like the example in the article of some tool calling git, I think it does make a ton of sense to make so

Didn’t they add one to one of the errors? Maybe the M4? Now looking online they didn’t. Or M5. Well I got SOMETHING confused I just don’t know what. Thank you.

Is that a British spelling? Oops. Honestly my computer gave it a red underline so I decided to do that. I didn’t think about it harder than that. If I recognized it like “colour” I wouldn’t have.

I’m not surprised they’re not nailed down. But I’d appreciate seeing a “we’re looking at X or Y or if Z is now possible” kind of thing. The maintenance and performance stuff is good, but it’s not exactly end user stuff. Yeah you benefit but

How do you get that? They showed the statistics based on their telemetry tools and said they match crash data. Not that it was 100% from crashes. Also the fact they can tell which one is in use does not mean that’s the reason it crashed.

Prominent dual fans? Hell no. Who would think that’s a good idea? One of the absolutely best things about the MacBook Pro is that it’s silent when you’re not really pushing it. It’s incredibly rare for me to hear them on my M4 Pro. Normal

I see very few ads and my life is SO MUCH better for it. I see how other people love and I can’t understand how they can stand it. I only watch TV where I can pay the service for an ad-free tier. Every podcast I can I subscribe to to get ri

Oh yeah. But since I already had the Core One the INDX is the obvious upgrade path for me. I also only got the 4 head version. I started with a MakerBot Thing-O-Matic when it was new. After leaving the hobby for a while I got a MK3(S?) beca

You can read the entire article without that, it explains everything really well. It’s not like many companies in the world where the video IS the article and they just assume no one reads.

I’d say the level of waste from filament switching is a disaster. But many people are used to it which I find crazy. It can be multiple times the weight of the actual thing you’re printing. Exactly how bad depends on the model. Here’s an ex

If I wasn’t already in the Prusa ecosystem the U1 is what I’d want. I was jealous of it until INDX was announced.

Yeah the dome gives you more angles. That may be the problem. If you’re testing a color mixing algorithm and measuring the output a larger surface at a single angle is probably much easier to measure constantly with colorimeters. If you ca

They’re not limiting you, the community work this is based on doesn’t either. Yeah they’re going to sell sets for easy use but it’s just color mixing. If you know the filament colors, which is what the filament database is for, you’ve got a

I’ve always liked the idea of multi-color. But one of the big mental stumbling blocks for me was needing so many colors. I’m not the kind of person who does a lot of 3-D printing and can justify having a wall of different filaments just to

What’s wrong with not using the community model for their internal tests? I’m sure they have a good reason. It can’t possibly be just NIH. Yeah they’re focusing on their filaments but that’s their product. It would be weird if they didn’t s

The big thing for me is this plus the INDX from Bondtech. And at least for now they are the exclusive partner for that (you can still buy on your own and add to any machine). INDX already has fast color changes and produces far FAR less was

IDK. Until the Neo you basically didn’t have a choice unless you were in the $1k+ bracket, which is not where most machines are sold. You could buy Windows, or a very cheap Chromebook that felt like it. People in that $600-700 range have ne
