If that point about datageddon is true (strikes me as logical but im no data scientist), it seems that learning algorithms that can deduce the importance of datapoints based on a large but fuzzy dataset would be of significant importance.

I'd argue that an opiate naive individual on 10g of red vein would be feeling VERY mad nice, considering that dose has me, not opiate naive, feeling mad nice. Definitely at the very least as strong a feeling as codeine

Long term kratom use can cause a dependence, and the withdrawals are very very similar to heroin/morphine withdrawals. regarding your second point, I cant find any hard sources, but my experience has been that unless one is doing WAAYY

This is actually pretty cool. Crashed my FF once, but otherwise good concept. EDIT: Works /flawlessly/ with google chrome.

I think the point that the author was making, outside of any criticism to the API itself, is that the hapless programmer may not know that fork() could even return -1. The article is pointing out that possibility as documented by the API, n
