Look at the pictures of the house (cf. comment by topbanana), the house is beautiful, just a pleasure to look at the clean minimalism. This goes in the same direction than this house: http://www.simondale.net/house/index.htm Corresponding

Thanks for the comment. If you use the right devices, you do not really need "a dozen" more sockets for HA. But your justification why you prefer HAProxy is what really matters. Every technology is applied in a given context and your cont

I am French, working in Germany having founded a Limited in UK and I spent some years working in Denmark. If you factor everything in, the cost difference between the US and EU is negligible. In the nuclear field, like in any highly skilled

Just cross the Atlantic, open a subsidiary in France. You will find there a lot of extremely qualified engineers for everything nuclear related.

For Photon, a micro framework for Mongrel2, we use regex. Even with 100's or 1000's of routes, you cannot even see the cost of preg_match when benchmarking because the regex are organized in a tree following the URI structure like Django. I

It is not a grid. It is just a process supervisor which can be controlled from a central point. Nothing more, but it does the work well. You can of course integrate it into a larger system, like what I have done for a PaaS: http://notes.ce
