You shouldn't, as a Floridian, take it so personally. Look, I understand that me calling you a neanderthal might hurt somewhat, but facts are facts.

It's a catch-22 ... would Amazon be this innovative had it been nationalised? At what point do you nationalise? Is there a next technology which will be stifled if it was nationalise? Does nationalisation sttifle innovation? I've

You're guessing wrong. Sonos is not beloved. I've heard all about the S1/S2 nightmare and I don't have a solution to it. I detested Sonos for that and tried to avoid them because of it, but no one has stepped up. Other m

Hah, that did occur to me as a strategy for fending off the soon-to-come "get back to the office" edict. Hopefully we can all meet half way with some form of flexible working. One size doesn't fit all.

I'll be honest. It's not clear to me who's doing the squeezing here. All I understand clearly is the end result as a customer. And I'll switch away from Youtube far quicker than I switch away from Roku. To be honest thou

Beg to differ. Roku offers a lot more than just Youtube. It's a nicety. Our entire setup (for better or worse) is built around a consistent Roku set up. I'm not going to change that for a while, so that means, "bye Youtube&qu

Youtube don't seem to want me as a customer. My setup is all running through Roku's. I run my Plex server, Dolby Atmos through an Ultra, and a tonne of other channels through 3 Roku's. Youtube is the expendable link here. The

We both win with WFH. I have a co-worker (generally a lovely person) who is about ready to explode when she hears someone crunching on an apple. WFH, I can now eat an apple without self-consciously slow-crunching.

Hmm, my jury is out on all of this, but you raise a good point. I was in exactly that position where I had to work closely with someone who I knew had strongly differing opinions to me on Israel/Palestine. I'm not sure if it was a

Actually, why don't planes cycle climbing to a height, switch off the engines, glide for X miles, restart engines to climb, etc ... Pretty sure I used to do that when I used to fly in my Microprose F-15 and was short on fuel.
